An Explanation Of Hierarchy Of Hoaxes: Ryan Walsh made this "bedroom album" in 2003. It was recorded after "Miraculous Happens" came out but before the "Chime Away" EP was finished. "Pretty bummed but thoroughly engrossed" was the mood in the bedroom. While Ryan wrote all the material, as you can see, many friends came along for the ride and helped out.

100 handmade copies were assembled and sold at Stairs shows.

Splendid said, "this subtle and unassuming album from members of Boston band the Stairs should be especially treasured."

Indieville said, "The critic has been satisfied."

South Of Mainstream said that Stairs side project Hierarchy Of Hoaxes "incorporates the odd symphonic appeal we came to expect from Jeff Mangum's genius with Neutral Milk Hotel."

The download comes with scan-in's of the liner notes.
